Nutkinz are great gifts for those "hard to buy for" friends, and for stocking stuffers, birthdays,  party favors, awards banquets, holidays, table placements, or just to make someone smile!

Nutkinz are handcrafted, whimsical characters. Created from split Black Walnut shells. Since each Nutkinz is hand crafted and each nut has it's own personality, no two are exactly identical. Nutkinz costumes are individually created and may vary from those pictured.

Q.  Where did you get the idea for Nutkinz?
A. - We like to think that our Nutkinz are Divinely inspired. Quite literally, we stumbled on the idea some years ago. While walking through a park, Ann noticed several Black Walnut shells on the ground. She said, "they look like little faces. Maybe we can do something with them." She tossed a few in her pocket and the rest is history!

Q. - Does anyone else make these, I've never seen them before?
A. - This is the only place in the known Universe that you can buy Nutkinz, this is a one of a kind craft. For the record, Nutkinz have been copyrighted since 1994.

Q. - Where do you find the thousands of Walnuts that you use?
A. - Although Black Walnuts grow throughout many parts of the U.S., we make a yearly trek to Indiana for our large supply of nuts.

Q. - Do you cut them open with a saw?
A. - Believe it or not, each nut is actually split apart with a screwdriver, no power equipment is used.

Q. - Why do all the faces look different?
A. - Not all nuts grow exactly alike and each one cracks open differently thus creating a myriad of personalities.

Q. - Will my Nutkinz character look exactly as pictured?
A. - Basically your Nutkinz will look like the sample pictured, however, each Character has it's own personality and will differ in that respect. The material and color of the costumes may vary.

Q. - What is the Certificate of Nuturalization and how much does it cost?
A. - Each Nutkinz comes with a certificate so that the recipient can be a "certified nut." It's kind of like a little diploma. Presentation of the certificate is half of the fun! The certificate is FREE.
